    A professor at Carnegie-Mellon, though he appears to be in good health now, has been diagnosed with fatal pancreatic cancer. He only has a short time to live. It’s a sad but inspiring story. Dennis uses it as a platform for today’s topic: if you knew you only had had a year to live, how would you live it?

    If you’re unhappy, do you believe that if you had one wish fulfilled that you’d suddenly be happy? It’s tempting to think that, but life doesn’t work that way. We make ourselves happy or unhappy.
