Ballpark Navigator Responsibilities: (July 2007 - February 2014)

Primary responsibility is to provide a 60 or 90 minute guided walking tour of PETCO Park for individuals or private groups year around.

Topics covered during the tour include Padres’ history and trivia, the construction of PETCO Park, the ballpark neighborhood and the fielding questions posed by tour guests.

Premium Seat Host Responsibilties: (March 2006 - July 2007)

Primary responsibility is to act as a San Diego Padres liaison during home baseball games by providing assistance to PETCO Park suite guests which includes, but is not limited to:

Inspect suites and report any problems that need attention prior to gates opening.
Help coordinated suite owner’s food and beverage requests with suite attendant.
Assist suite owner and guests with miscellaneous requests during baseball games.
Act as the gatekeeper for access into suites.

Secondary responsibilities involve assisting all PETCO Park guests attending the baseball game, which includes, but is not limited to:

guest’s seat location
concessions stand locations
restaurant locations
team store locations
smoking areas
transportation questions
alcohol / smoking policies

Primary responsibility is to act as a San Diego Chargers liaison during home football games by providing assistance to Qualcomm Stadium guests, which includes, but is not limited to:

guest’s seat location
concessions stand locations
restaurant locations
team store locations
smoking areas
transportation questions
alcohol / smoking policies

Inspected seating and suite areas prior to guest admission to Qualcomm Stadium and report any problems that need immediate attention.

Coordinate and document Chargers Guest Services employee breaks.


	10,000RV Sales, Inc. (Letter of Recommendation) May 2004 ~ September 2004 San Diego, California Position: Service Director (Interim)

Oversight of a six person staff.

Dispatch and direction of an average of 140 unit per month of either incoming inventory to be readied for sale or vehicles sold to retail customers prepped for delivery.

Development of the organizational paths and methodoligies used by to faciliate repair orders, the dispatching of drivers and customer relations.

Note: This position was eliminated and the responsibilities outsourced to Rick’s RV Service.

	Restaurant Management And Control Systems (Sold to Radiant Sytems in 1997) 1985 ~ 1987 Redwood City, California Position: Sales Manager

Sold the ReMACS system to a variety of food services establishments.

Required an understanding of DOS (ver. 2.0+), Interface with POS Systems and the set-up of the ReMACS accounting system.


	Fenton's Creamery & Restaurant 1984 ~ 1985 San Diego, California Position: General Manager

This popular '50s style "malt shop" features old-fashioned favorites served up in healthy portions.

Implemented a P.O.S. register system linked to ReMACS (Restaurant Management and Control Systems) accounting software.

This was during the time PCs were just beginning to be used as a business tool.

Fenton’s was sold after my first year as General Manager. I took a job as a Sale Representative for ReMACS.


	Inter-Continental Resort Hotel and Marina San Diego (Became the San Diego Marriott Hotel and Marina) 1983 ~ 1984 San Diego, California Position: Sales Manager

Responsibilities included traveling to trade shows to promote the ICH San Diego room bookings to the Tour & Travel segment.


	Town & Country Resort & Convention Center 1981 ~ 1983 San Diego, California Position: Catering Sales Representative

Responsibilities included the booking, coordination and follow through of weddings, conferences and trade shows food & beverage and meeting requirements.

First job was as a dishwasher at a Japanese Restaurant on Prospect Street in La Jolla, Californai.

During High School I worked at Jack-In-The-Box (now a strip mall) on La Jolla Boulevard in Bird Rock at the Register, as a Cook and Clean-up Crew at one time or another.

Summer after Freshman year I worked as a Busboy / Waiter at Humphrey’s Restaurant, Shelter Island (before the days of the Concerts).

Summer after Sophomore year I worked as a Front Desk Clerk at the Royal Inn at the Wharf, San Diego (now the Hampton Inn San Diego - Downtown), my first taste of the Hotel business..

Winter break of my Junior year I worked as a Waiter at the Lion Head Lodge, Vail, Colorado.

Summer after Junior year I worked as a Bellman at the Sheraton Fisherman's Wharf, San Francisco (ask me about the Graveyard shift).

Summer / Fall 1981 worked at the Beverly Hills Hotel (aka, the Pink Palace) in the Reservation Department.
